Ninkyo Dantai v1.0.6 - Map Editor & Bug Fixes


Hey everyone,

Welcome to the new Ninkyo Dantai v1.0.6 - Map Editor & Bug Fixes released on 11th December 2024.

This is a small patch update to address bug fixes and update map editor frameworks for easier level and world design.


Additions

  • Added Quit to Desktop function to the Options Menu.
  • Added some new roads in Ichihara.
  • Adds Elevator texture (for use in interiors).
  • Adds Black Carpet texture (for use in interiors).

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where jumping out of a car causes a zoom mismatch.
  • Fixed an issue where you were taken to the incorrect city using debug warps.
  • Fixed an issue where all Options Menu Quality settings could overflow.
  • Fixed z-fighting in city of Ichihara.

Removals

  • Removed texture spr_map_editor_gui from the game as no longer required.

Debug

The development work on the Map Editor will improve the design of cities and areas within the game.

  • Adds integration of WinMenu API Library for use in Map Editor.
  • Adds File,  Edit, Game, and Exit to the Map Editor Toolbar.
  • Pixel Spacing has been moved to the toolbar > Edit > Pixel Spacing
  • Updated listening event for accessing Debug Mode.
  • Reorganised sprite tree for better grouping.
  • Added Help Information to the toolbar > Game > Help
Added new debug command: /get weekday

This command returns the current day and its index.
