Ninkyo Dantai v1.0.7 - Refined Living Update


Hey everyone!

The theme of this content update is Refined Living - which means a better customised place to live as well as some ambient updates in NPC dialogue. 

Shinji now has an apartment that can be accessed, it is a road over from Joe's Pizza near the downtown district on the east side. A blip icon is shown on the mini-map.

Additions

  • Added a new Quest - Go to your apartment and rest for the night.
  • Added Shinji's Home.
  • Added over 130 new ambient NPC dialogue lines.
  • A new Save function was added to the Options Menu.
  • A new Load function was added to the Options Menu
  • A new Load function was added to the Main Menu.
  • Added new enemy names to the mix.
  • Added Car Zooming Toggle > On, Off to the Options Menu under World.
  • Added a loading transition between Cities.
  • Prayer Shrines are now a collectable. 5 of them can be found in Buruwasu.
  • Added four new missing UV textures for the Rubbish Skip.


Prayer Shrine & Locations:

  • #1 Park near the spawn point, South from the Commercial District.
  • #2 By Kuro Bridge near the waterfront.
  • #3 Inside Kuro Town car park.
  • #4 At the abandoned construction site.
  • #5 Inside the Champion's district.
  • Prayer Shrines are now displayed under Stats in the Options Menu.
  • Prayer Shrines now have collision and are marked as solids.
  • Prayer Shrines now have updated collision code.
  • When near a Prayer Shrine you will now see an Interact Prompt using 'I''.
  • Prayer Shrines contribute to the overall Game Completion.

Home Customisation

  • There is a new 'Home Customisation' mode.
  • Access by pressing B for Build. You can use W,A,S,D to move the camera along.
  • Added new Build Mode. 
  • You can toggle the grid off/on to assist with object placement.

Flooring

  • Added new Wooden Floor.

Kitchen

  • Added new Kitchen Counter.

Updates/Changes

  • Updated map editor GUI as some things were moved to the WinMenu functions.
  • Overhauled camera code to support home customisation.
  • Updated the Options Menu textures.
  • Updated the Main Menu textures.
  • Updated the Taxi Menu code.
  • Updated the Car Physics code.
  • Additional world object placement
  • Improved saving and loading code.

Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where time would reset when moving between Cities.
  • Fixed rendering/uv bugs with the Rubbish Skip. 
  • Fixed Rubbish Skip object normals.
  • Fixed construction area texture missing from mini-map.
